Back to school ?

November 26th, 2007 by mylacuna

I am so confused when I made this decision, whether to take management or liberal arts. I just jump into the conclusion and ended up with management, due to some reasons. However I hope that I can still pursue what I like and stay strong to my dreams. As time passes,I notice that my dreams started to fade away. Why do I feel that people is living my dream? So Near But Still So Far Symptom?Or Am I just building castle in the sky?

That day after making that decision to study part time. I thought I might pamper myself because of the sense of uneasiness.

(Hmm…..nice ball pen,but after using a few times only, then the ink won’t flow out.Bah! Waste my money only =(  )

But I like the design of the pen. Noticed that I picked all the stationaries item in design? I was inspired by the "Legally Blonde". I loved my fluffy pencil box. =) Previously was using common stationary like free pens frm hotels  or stabilo pen and I thought that was a bit dull,so bye-bye to them. This was also a start for me,who is was going back to study after few yrs.

Weeks have past….and I try to make everthing as best as possible. Sometimes I wonder how working people juggle with their full time work and part time studies? Bless me…..I think I need all the determination, time management, brains and activeness to go through this period.

October 15th, 2007 by mylacuna

The day didn’t start right. I overslept, tks to the alarm bell & my mobile phone that didn’t ring  (Received a lot of missed call frm Joline).I thought I will have missed out the trip as I was late by 45min’s I think.Thank god! So kind of them to have them waited for me.

The trip……

1pict0511 Jammed towards the Malaysian immigration dept.

1pict0516

Waited for two hrs to crossed over to Hatyai.

Finally after hrs of delay, and we are in Hatyai.Yay!!!!

The chow down time…. :)

1pict0517 Noodles with some raw veges and the sauce tasted curry with coconut milk.

           1pict0518

Fried noodles. Almost looks like our ‘Char Koay Teow’

1pict0520

Beef Koay Teow Soup. The soup is spicy. It seems like a lot of pepper in it.

1pict0521

Fried oysters. I like the crunchiness of it.1pict0522

Pumpkin, bread and leong fan for dessert.I know the combination seems weird as at first I dunno what the brown stuff.Out of curiosity I choose it. After eating and seeing the skin of the brown stuff only, aunt jenny and aunt Helen said that it must be pumpkin.(Not bad the taste)

1pict0523 I eat the sausages with the hot sauce.Yummy but kinda hot.

Then at night,we went to watch the cabaret dances and dinner at Hansa Plaza.I got one of the dancer’s pics wearing scantily. So I think it is not good for me to put it up here. :P. Can believe that they used to a men before they turn into a women.

1pict0542 The show. They are wearing Chinese costume.

Top to clockwise: Tauhu that 1pict0530_1tasted like smoked, seafood tomyam in the small bowl, fish balls & mixed vegetables.

1pict0531

The waiters uniforms looks like a mechanic overall.Hmmm…something different,I guess.

1pict0550

Supper time. Bird’s nest which cost abt RM 10

2nd day.

1pict0551 We had ‘tok-tok mee’ for breakfast and chicken.I feel that the style is almost the same like the taiwanese noodles

1pict0552The chicken tasted the same like the one at Penang.Justthe sauce tasted different.I prefer the darker sauce then the red ones over there.

Later we went to the market,on the way I had fried chicken and a coconut drink.I also bought  manggo with sticky rice. Alternative to manggo, you can choose to have durian with sticky rice instead.

1pict0574

Wanted to go to the Robinson shopping complex, but it was not opened yet.We found out that it open on 10.30am Hatyai time.Meaning that,11.30am Malaysian time. Since we gonna have lunch 12noon(malaysian time),we headed back to Hotel to freshen ourself.

1pict0567After our lunch,we headed back to Penang. Luckily this time, when we head towards the immgration dept, there was no human jam. Thank godness!

Bye-Bye Hatyai…till then if got the chance to visit again.

Muscles sore

September 9th, 2007 by mylacuna

My chest area between the armpits and shoulder area are in pain that I could not lift my hands up or move to fast. -_- If not the muscles area there will be pulling very tight, and causes me more pain. Thanks to the the body pump class I did last Sunday. Not to mention that,my thighs muscles are also the same,I have difficulty to walk down the stairs men!.That must be I have not work my muscles before.Luckily, My thights recover faster than my arms area. After 5 days, the sore is gone. ^^v

Yea,yea.I have joined a gym for 1 mth that cost only RM 29.90 with my friends. It is only a promotion for 1 mth, after that if you have to pay RM200 or RM 150 if yo wanted to join in the membership. (wow! very expensive. ^^” )Hehehe, actually me and my friends started a few day earlier on the end of August, but the qym representative only process our application on the 2nd october. So our 1 mth qym membership will ends on this 1st October.

Today, they the qym launches launch team, meaning the public can have a free try at the gym for today. Then Nee, got a free 2 weeks trial at the lucky draw. =)

After the body jam session today,we went for lunch at Japin.

Transformer.

August 2nd, 2007 by mylacuna

I get excited like a little kid again when I watch transformer.(I still remember the sound the robots make when it transform when it was just a cartoon* zez..zez..zez*)What a cool movie. Good CGI effects althought some of the actions are fast enough until my eye cannot keep up with the scene.I think I might consider to buy the DVD and keep it for good time sake. :P

I’m not that happy with the attitude of that ‘jaga kereta’ people. How dare of him to ask RM 5.00 for a parking fee.THen I said to him…Wah!! So expensive argh? THen that fellow said RM 3.00 can already. Common lah,it abt.11.30pm where got parking attendant charge so expensive at the Gurney Tower there? Then we decided to give him RM 2.00 only and proceed to Coffee Bean. (Blek! :P) My concern is that I scared him tampering with my friend car because of disastisfaction.THen there is another  piece of birthday cake for the birthday girl yesterday. Hey! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U CHIN TING!  = )

Two Higlands and A Cave.

July 30th, 2007 by mylacuna

For the passed few months a lot of things happened in the household.I’m almost suffocated trying to hold my breath in there.Luckily it is over now and I can have my air again.  :)

Just at that time, the trip to Cameron and Genting was timely for me. It was a perfect time to relax and unwind after that emotional ride.Overall the two trip was nice.It was my first time Cameroon. After coming back from Genting I get sick due to lack of sleep. :P     Just for the month of July only there is 3 trips (Ie: cameron, genting & Gua Tempurung). One week after the Genting trip…………….was this Gua Tempurung trip that we all have been waiting for…is finally done. Whoopeee!!!!

The first time going to ‘explore’ the Gua Tempurung, We decided to be more adventurous by taking the grand tour that cost us RM 22.00 per person. The whole ‘tour’ there was really good exercise. We have to crawl, slide, climb stairs, walk and waddle to through the water. The coolest part for me was crawling through the lowest part of the cave and getting your pants wet with the underground water. Then there was a part that we need to slide down before going in one by one into an opening that they named ‘rat hole’.Luckily inside the ‘rat hole’, it is not just a small opening that you have to crawl through like the soldiers do in the barb-wired fence training.**Hehehe…I don’t like the idea of cramp space. Luckily it was just a small part that u have to do something like the duck squat to go through the opening after entering the ‘rat hole’ A lot of thanks to the group of friends as they were really helpful and taking care of us girls. Thanks but no thanks to to the guide that didn’t take any effort to help us even but proceed so fast for us to follow that we have requested him to slow down a bit and wait for us. Pheewww!! It did take our stamina for the first 30 minutes until my specs is blur by my respiration I think.

I really feel that we are totally luckily to be able to complete this Gua Tempurung trip, after Val’s car suddenly malfunction because of the clutch thing at Sg.Perak if I’m not mistaken. I thought we have to postphoned the thing and if not go back to Penang,if we couldn’t get someone to repair the clutch.I mean we are so damn luckly that, some police patrol men happen to passed by and they manage to fixed the car in no time….And then ,there is also a mechanic nearby. Just to make sure the car is in the right condition,we have the mechanic to look at the car again.

After all this…and a breakfast a Fuh San.(ipoh)We managed to participate in the last tour of Gua Tempurung that started at 11.00am. althought we reach there abt 11.10am to 11.15am like that. What a close one!. The Day trip ended with some of us bought some chicken biscuit and salted chicken home.

I have gone to two higlands and a cave. So when is the next trip to the sea? (** I have been thinking of going overseas like Phuket or Phi-Phi Island,or even Redang in Malaysia also can. But is Moonson season now? I wanna go to Bangkok also.)Wow…I can be greedy at times…Hahahaha. So anyone planning going anywhere?Do include me please…..hehehe  =p

What dreams indicate?

May 21st, 2007 by mylacuna

I think this is the first time I have a dream  that I feel happy and satisfied, not like most of the times that I dreamed that, I’m in an akward situation. For example; siting for an exam,or being chased or hiding from someone, people turn into monsters etc.

According to the dream I had today,I think it has something to do with yesterday’s afternoon Grey Anatomy I was watching. The topic was abt. a women with 2 uterus and a pregnant lady with twins.I think my brain somehow subconsiously lead me to dream that I had 2 uterus and was about to gift birth to a boy and a girl twins.(Ya….Ya.I know it sounds funny)I also dream that the doctor told me that my situation is different as one of my twins is due today and the other that is the girl will be due in another few months time as the sperm did not meet the egg on the same time.

Then when my baby boy was brought to me I could sense that I was happy and satisfied. It seems like, I was smitten with the cute baby or was I falling in love  with my baby the moment I saw him. Then I whisper to him that he will meet his sisters in a month time like that and they will be each others best friend. Then I was waken up automatically.

I think my dream is quite funny…….I mean I haven’t given birth before and I dream of this. I think I must have watch too much tv OR my dream is trying to tell me something else.

Human behaviours and attitudes

May 17th, 2007 by mylacuna

Some of the things I see…

1)There are some people that are very sensitive.

2)People who are very culculative in terms of chores and money could be someone who have blood connection with you.

3)People don’t like or take you seriously if you are one of the cheerful and happy go luckly person. They sometimes deems you as nuts or off- sided meaning crazy.

4)The more the merrier might not be always true,as there is a lot of arguments and fights involve when there is more people.

5)There is nothing wrong and right. There is no black and white….there is an area of greyness only.

Down with flu and cough.

April 13th, 2007 by mylacuna

I think I break my own record for my slepping time.Usually I don’t sleep at 9pm. but for that  day I feel so sleepy and tired maybe because of my flu and cough. Almost entering the 2nd week already and I have yet to recover.Sad to say,on that very day I was suppose to go somewhere but I have cancel it the last minute.Subsequently I have enough sleep because I don’t have to go any where. The weird thing is that I still feel the same. So I take MC for yesterday noon.

Never have thought that the flu and cough could make me feel so tired. It rained this early morning….and I have a dream. I dream that I was with a developer when he was about to lay a foundation for building an apartment. He was trying to put the building at the edge of the cliff.THen I ask him, "Wouldn’t it be dangerous that the apartment will come down together if there has been a landslide? Furtheremore I heard that there is a limestone beneath. Then he looked at me and answered that,he had the limestone dugged up and covered it with soil again. He added that he was trying to look for the best spot to lay the foundation. I suggested that he could take a look at the apartment beside on how the foundation is lay.Pfftt….then I wake up.

Empty nest

March 20th, 2007 by mylacuna

Cries of the princes can be heard those times and there goes the heroes to the rescue.Nowadays the castle has been left almost empty with "red, unsound,& nana" to accompany the princess.
