The eekiest thing.
Sunday, July 27th, 2008Eeekk…..was the only sound I could get out of my mouth at that moment. I was frightened by the sight of some infested insects in the cupboard that I shared with my elder bro. It make some sand like tunnels at the bottom of the cupboard doors. Sad to say my first collection of comics book was their target. The comic books was all bought during my primary school years then. I was crazy about Dragon Ball and Sailormoon. It was my favourite story until now. Mom said it was silverfish infestion but I doubt it. I was thinking it was some termintes colony instead.Ayway on Sat 19 July 2008, I have to brave myself to swept away the colony of "silver fish". It was the eckiest thing I have to do. I feel ‘geli’ having to do so. Am afraid of the sight of the worms,eggs,poo-poo and what is worst then having some life "silverfish" crawing all over your hands while I check the comic books inside the boxs. Luckily I had some help from my aunties.
I remember that I carefully keep the comic books away for keepsake in a specially make to fit boxes so that the comic will fit perfectly in my cupboard without taking much of the cupboard spaces. Yeah….I recalled that I used to pester my elder bro to make that box for me. It was due to :
1)To hide from Mom. As she wasn’t that happy when she found out that I used the lunch money that I saved for, to purchase the comic.
2) It was my precious comic book that I collected during my primary school days and I wanted to maintain the book condition.
3)My cupboard was running out of space to store the increasing volume of the comic book. The box will enable me to stack up another volume on top without spoiling the comics at below.
Last but not least; I just wanted to hide the comic book from my mom’s sight. I figured out that if she didn’t know see any comic book in her sight then I will be spare from her lecturings abt. me wasting my money. I know,I know…….. it was a waste of money but I like the drawings and the story line. I still do until now…..in fact I am reading Sarkas KaraKuri, Hunter X Hunter, Rave, Yugi-Oh etc. In fact this comic thing has influence me in watching anime like Chobits, Cardcaptor Sakura,Colour Cloud Palace, La Corda d’Oro Primo Passo.Right now I am still in the midst of trying to finish up Trinity Blood and Tsubahasa Chronicles.
Oh yea! I come to know that they are screening Dragon Ball soon in the cinema and I just can’t wait. Evangelion is screening in some cinema already and it is not screening in Penang. Boo-Huu…
Anyway I have to thrown away all my comics because it was eaten up or been poo-poo at. :( Personally i think the comic book version of Sailormoon was a lot better then the cartoon version when i saw both. I thought I could keep my Sailormoon comics. Sad to say I have to say farewell to them. Sayonara!!
Sailormoon comic is being eaten and poo at.
My box being turn into their colony.
That’s not the end of it. I saw another colony at my brother’s shelf…. =_="
